No sooner did I read your post, and proclaim my antipathy toward "that kind" of e'mail, than my in-box turned up something that made it past the filters from one "Devil Diego"

Only, and I repeat, ONLY because I had read your post today was I moved to open it out of curiosity rather than trash it with annoyance.
Good thing!
(Digression: If I had my own blog instead of shamelessly having to camp out all over solar system like this, I could easily make something up about how old Devil Diego was offering me the chance of a lifetime. Not today though. Not here :)
New job = working with college kids = resourceful student named Diego who was writing to ask me an important question. I very nearly blew him off.
Bottom line? There is much truth in fortune cookies. "Gaze long at the moon bring good luck" I did just that, and I'm so glad :)
